Temple University's National Society of Black Engineers stands on NSBE's mission statement which is "to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." In efforts to reiterate our mission, our chapter has developed the following directives:
ABOUT US
Temple NSBE strives to ensure that all members have accessibility to all the opportunities that we have to offer. From our Community Service Initiatives, General Body Meetings, and Study nights, we encourage each member to get involved.
We are not just aiming to achieve that 3.0, we want to go above and beyond that. Members are encouraged to reach higher and to obtain internships/co-ops to further enhance their college experience.

To effectively serve our General Body, the Executive board must form one cohesive group with one common mission “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professional and positively impact the community.”
