Hello, my name is Keenan Nii Odenkey Abbey from Baltimore, Maryland. I am a Junior at Temple University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. As an aspiring engineer, I hope to create innovative ideas that change the world. I also want to create a platform for people that look like me who may not have the resources or encouragement to express themselves in the engineering or stem programs. NSBE’s mission to stand strongly to help black engineers excel has encouraged me to do the same for others. As the Programs chair my mission is to host events that bring a sense of community. These events will open opportunities for internships, resume help, time management, and alumni events!
