Before attending Temple, I was thinking about changing my major. I was feeling lost, scared, and stressed. I was anxious about being a transfer student and antisocial. An old friend convinced me to go to the organizations and clubs fair and that's where I met a NSBE member. To this day I am grateful for that person telling me about the kind of community I want to be apart of. As the Telecommunications chair, I will work to uphold the mission of NSBE by encouraging black engineers to excel.
